Alex is a talented multi-instrumentalist whose guitar work blends technical mastery with a spirit of improvisation. Drawing inspiration from jazz greats like John Scofield and the expressive, free-flowing style of Jerry Garcia, Alex creates a sound that is both sophisticated and deeply emotive. Mike is one of the most accomplished and respected jazz bassists in the DC Metro Area. His warm tone and deep harmonic sensibility provide a steady foundation and rich depth to the band’s sound. A dedicated educator as well as a performer, Mike mentors the next generation of jazz musicians through his teaching at the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, bringing both artistry and experience to every stage he plays.
